"Perseverance
and spirit have done wonders in all ages." - George Washington.
Dear
Patriots,
I want
to encourage every one of you not to lose heart. We have the
vast
majority of Americans with us. We just need to reach out to
them and
give them the tools they need to help gain control of our runaway
federal government.
Last
night, I spoke at my first Libertarian Party meeting. I have
now been
invited to speak to more. As with all the groups to whom I
have
spoken, they were overwhelmingly pleased with my presentation and
wanted to know more about the constitutional means to restrain our
federal government. Like most Americans, they were hungry to know more
about our Constitution, our form of government, and the underlying
principles upon which it was founded.
We
live
in an exciting era of opportunity. We live in a time when it
is so
very easy to be a hero - whether sung or unsung. If you can
educate
yourself and enlighten those around you on the basic principles of
liberty, you will have done what early Americans did before you - gain
and maintain freedom.
I want
to congratulate Rich Apples. Rich recently founded the Constitution
Committee of Gwinnett County, Georgia. His newly formed
Constitution
Committee has held its first meeting, elected its first officers and
authorized purchasing the "5000 Year Leap: Principles of Freedom 101"
DVD course. I have been invited to speak at their First
Annual
Constitution Week banquet in September. I am extremely
honored. I
want to thank the Constitution Committee of Palm Beach County, Florida
who helped them with their charter and paperwork.
You
too
can start a Constitution Committee. It can be either a free
standing
entity or a part of a current organization to which you
belong. Your
church can have a Constitution Committee. Your women's club
can have a
Constitution Committee. Your political club can have a
Constitution
Committee. Your civic club can have a Constitution
Committee. I would
be glad to help you however I can.
Let's
Roll Patriots!
P.S.
Remember to fill out all those political issue questionaires that you
are receiving in the mail with emphatic statements that you want our
Congress to confine itself to Article I, Section 8. If we did
not
delegate the power to it in our Constitution, then it does not have
it. Period.
Go get 'em!
