Dear Friends

I hope the holidays have found you with great joy and peace as the Lord Jesus promised us. I have just returned from a trip to the heart of Dixie, Birmingham Alabama. It was there that we spent Christmas with our family and our new grandbaby, Caleb. He was named after a great man of faith in the book of Joshua. In fact, it was only Joshua and Caleb who believed that they could take the Promised Land as God promised. But as you know ten others of the “Promise land Committee” voted against Joshua and Caleb and as a result voted against God and Moses. The bones of the ten “committee” members and the generation of Israel that voted with them are still bleaching in the desert to this day. Joshua and Caleb went in to conquer the land 40 years later. And when the Conquest was nearly finished Caleb now 80 years old, requested to Joshua that he would grant him the permission to conquer the mountain that Moses had promised him forty years earlier. He said that He was still able to fight for the Lord at 80 just the same as when he was 40, he said “Joshua, give me this mountain to conquer!”

Would to God that we as the Christian Coalition would have that same attitude of faith when we approach God in prayer about our Nation, “God, give me a mountain to conquer to help bring my nation back to you!” It is my prayer that we in the Christian Coalition have the same vision of faith as Caleb and Joshua. Our nation needs us. We as Christians have wondered too long in the wilderness of complacency! The heart of America looks to us to rescue her from her enemies. Please join hands with God and take your stand in your local chapter of the Christian Coalition to take America back from those who do not stand for God and Country. May this year be the year the Christian Coalition of Pinellas County become a deciding force in the rescue of the United States of America from ungodly and unpatriotic leaders. God Bless you and remember God only honors faith not committees!
