What About The Small Toe?

There is a debate raging in the U.S. today that will transform the fabric of American society for years to come. It is the liberal's attack on freely elected people of faith, in school district's and state legislatures across the country, trying to open the discussion in science classes to include creationism and intelleigent design. I remember being a child at Springdale Elementary school in Stamford, CT and having my sixth grade teacher tell me that "one day people will evolve to the point that we won't have the small toes on our feet any longer." Well many years later, my small toes are still there and all of the babies born over the last few decades still have theirs as well. (I guess the evolutionists have some explaining to do on that one.) Then as an undegraduate at the University of Pittsburgh, I was told over and over again how man "evolved" from ape. So I asked my science professor two questions: Has the missing link ever been found? And if evolution is an on-going process why don't apes continue to "evolve" into people? (Once again, the evolutionists and liberals had no answers.)

But, not only are evolutionists and liberals wrong about the "science" of evolution; but they are also hypocrites. For years, liberals have tried to force the homosexual agenda onto schools under the banner of "tolerance and diversity of ideas." Well then, shouldn't they be joining Christians and pushing for discussion of "diverse ideas" in science class as well. Evolutionist admit that they can't explain everything that goes on in nature, so shouldn't they allow for discussion of alternative thoughts and ideas.

Evolutionists and their liberal allies have no logical reason for fighting the Kansas school board to allow for intelligent design to be taught, or for the Cobb County,GA school district to place stickers on their science textbooks stating that alternative theories other than evolution exist, except for one: they want Christ out of children's lives.

But take heart fellow Christians, because evolutionists and their liberal allies are running being exposed for the hypocrites they are. Polls, such as the one released recently about people's attitudes in Pinellas County, show that the vast majority of citizens want creationism and intelligent design as a part of our science curriculum.

Finally, I strongly suggest the evolutionists and liberals turn to Hebrews 11:3 for the answers they seek: "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." Enough said!

God Bless,

Mr. John Giotis Ed.D
